Heading into the final round of the season at Hockenheim, Alexis held a massive 48 point lead over French teammate @Valentino Rossi meaning that he was all but assured to take the drivers crown in Germany.
It didn't all go to plan straight away though, after dominating practice Alexis would only start from P2 on the grid after an inspired lap by @Simon Fillingham put him on pole for the 1st race. The Englishman would go onto to lead from flag to flag to take the victory but there was to be no denying Mimran as he brought his Audi home in 3rd place, securing the Season 2 Drivers championship. @Sven Hecke put in another good performance to finish in 2nd place, the German looking very fast since his arrival at RRLeagues.
Buoyed by being champion, Alexis took pole in Race 2 and never looked back as he took a comfortable victory ahead of Simon and @Stacy Chandler in 3rd.
The result leaves no doubt that Alexis is the current king of the AM class after just a week ago taking the Silhouette AM honours. Can the Frenchman carry his quick pace forward in to the Get Real championships soon to commence at RRLeagues? We shall wait and see....
Fillingham's strong showing at Hockenheim saw him catapult to finish 2nd overall in the final standings, with recently crowned Silhouette GR Champion @Marko Talevski completing the top 3 drivers.
'The French Kiss' netted their 3rd Teams Championship in a week, whilst 'Virtual Insanity Racing' narrowly managed to pip 'Just Racing' into 2nd.
