Since landing the unprecedented triple crown back in Almighty Autumn '17 it's fair to say, Jim Britton has struggled to recapture the form that made him driver champion of GTR3, FR-X & DTM 2016 all in one glorious season. You could have been excused for thinking that the 44-year-old Brit, having left his mark at RRL, had lost the desire to challenge for further honours.
But, like a creature in aestivation, Britton has awoke after a long hot spell to deliver 6, top 10 finishes on the bounce that has seen the Brit catapult to the top of the recent form rankings - a run that includes back to back wins in the FR2 series.
Are we witnessing the 'fall' guy embarking on his journey to take his 4th RRL Driver Champion accolade? The signs for his competitors look bleak.
We are looking to put in place a new banner on our website and we would like YOU to design it for us! That's right folks, your masterpiece could be featured across all RRLeagues platforms and be in place by the end of October!
So, if you are feeling creative we would love for you to share your concept(s) with us. The banner will initially be in situ on the website and will be adapted (resized) to be implemented onto our Twitter, YouTube & Facebook channels.
