After the thrilling season opener at Suzuka, the WTCR drivers were keen to hit the asphalt when the season continued in Oschersleben, which certainly delivered when it came to close and exciting door-to-door racing. The question was, who would come out on top to lead the championship into round 3.
Mid Ohio Sports Car Course features exclusively in the coming week at RRL as host of 2 series events in the Chills n' Thrills season. Rd 3 of S25 Group 5 & S26 WTCR will see competitors travel to The Birthplace of Aviation, with the Polar Vortex that has ravaged much of mid-USA looking set to temporarily give way to warmer temperatures. Sunday will see the vintage Group 5 class roar around the 'chicane' layout, whilst on Wednesday, the touring cars will dazzle on the 'short' version of this rollercoaster of a track.
Better late than never, but it is time to look back at the opening round of RRLeagues’ season 27, which was held at the Red Bull Ring in Austria and saw drivers in the GT1 and GT4 classes battle it out over 75 minutes to gain the upper hand and potentially lay down a marker for the rest of the season.
This weekend's racing at RRL comes to you from the FIA Grade 1 circuit at Buriram, Chang International Circuit. This outstanding Thai facility will host Rd 2 of S7 GTR1/GTR4 as our 36 drivers will be looking to either continue good form from Spielberg or looking to relight their season in the exotic Far East. 75 minutes of multiclass racing awaits, don't miss any of the action.
