In this thread the Stewarding Decisions will be announced, all rulings are final.

Foreword

As Rule D1 states;

'Sportsmanship is a cornerstone of racing at RRLeagues and this is expected to be upheld by all participating drivers. If you pass someone unfairly or collide with them, it is expected that you return the position at the earliest but safest opportunity.'

If you show sportsmanship towards other drivers then any penalties you may receive will be lessened because of this.

RRLeagues Licence

Any penalty points you receive for incidents from the stewards will be added to your RRLeagues Licence. All about RRLeagues Licence here. The maximum permitted penalty points for Season 21; GTR3 is 12.

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

All present :)

Video Review

For this race, I have put together a short video showing the incidents below. It is hoped this will provide a more useful oversight, be easier to understand and show what we are looking at when stewarding a race. At this moment I'm not sure if it will continue or not. Its a bit rough around the edges, but hopefully you get the gist!

Race

1. HUTNIK / FILLINGHAM
Approaching T1, Simon is on the inside of the track with Pavel in the middle and Petr on the outside. Simon has little overlap, but Pavel turns in extraordinarily early, perhaps to avoid Michal ahead, and pushes Simon off track. Simon is able to continue after a bit of ping-pong with other cars but Pavel needed to show more awareness in this situation and not alter lines drastically under braking.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

2. POJSL / TALEVSKI
Similar to incident (1), Petr moves off his line under braking for T1 and straight into the path of Marko. These moves are dangerous and can easily ruin someone's race, and against Rule D8. Marko is able to continue with little consequence, as is Petr after a trip over the kerbs. More awareness needed in T1.
DECISION - WARNING POJSL (1)

3. SOBOCINSKI
Pawel brakes too late for T5 and sails up the inside, touching the apex but unable to make corner exit limits. Fortunately, there was a break in the traffic so no collision followed. This type of incident could easily attract a warning, but stewards try to act with a little more leniency at the opening round where a new member is concerned and there has been no consequence. Please show more caution in future.
DECISION - NO ACTION

4. HUTNIK / KOLBE
Lukas attacks Pavel up the inside into T6. Lukas does have significant overlap at corner turn-in point so has a right to the inside line. Pavel does not grant Lukas this right and goes for the apex kerb, cutting up Lukas in the process. Lukas is able to brake to avoid a more serious incident.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

5. HUTNIK / FORSBERG
Pavel is late on the brakes, Jazz perhaps a little early, which sees Pavel shoot up the inside of Jazz into T8 but is unable to keep his car within track limits at exit. There's no collision mainly thanks to Jazz's awareness. Upon rejoining the track there is a slight side-by-side contact with Jazz with little consequence. Whilst a NQ penalty here for unfairly taking a position and not giving it back could easily fit, we are giving Pavel the benefit of the doubt that there was a slight opening under braking to entice him and so will reduce our decision to a warning.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

Submitted

6. LUKAS / PIETRASZ
L11, T5. Michal tags the rear of Vlastimil through T5, causing Vlastimil to spin and lose many positions. Michal waits for Vlastimil to recover. The stewards judge that Michal didn't have significant overlap at corner entry to be given any room.
DECISION - WARNING PIETRASZ (1)

7. MANOJLOVIC / ROSLEV
L9, T14. Morten hits the rear of Nemanja under braking, causing Nemanja to slide significantly which he is able to catch.
DECISION - WARNING ROSLEV (1)

8. MANOJLOVIC / HUTNIK
L10, T5. Nemanja is defending his position down into T5 by taking the inside line. Pavel, close behind, hits the rear of Nemanja under braking when there was plenty of room to the outside to brake safely and avoid contact. Both drivers spin. Pavel is able to recover sooner but fails to return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

9. MANOJLOVIC / PIETRASZ
L20, T1. Michal is late braking in T1 and hits Nemanja. Fortunately, there is no consequence to Nemanja but drivers need to show more caution when racing closely with others.
DECISION - WARNING PIETRASZ (1)

10. ARELLA / MANOJLOVIC
L2, T5, Nemanja hits the rear of Ralf under braking for T5. Ralf spins losing many positions. Nemanja waits for Ralf to recover.
DECISION - WARNING MANOJLOVIC (1)

11. METCALF / HUTNIK
L2, T3. Pavel attacks Greg on the inside into T3. There is contact through the apex which pushes Greg wide at exit losing him speed and positions. Greg was a little slow out of T1 but maintained enough of an advantage approaching T3. At corner turn-in, Pavel did not have substantial overlap to have a right to the inside line and should have backed out of the move. Pavel unfairly took Greg's position and it was not returned within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

12. PIETRASZ / KOLBE
L24, T8. Lukas gets a couple of wheels on the grass through the exit of T7 which reduces his speed. On the approach to T8, Michal is able to pass Lukas on the outside and is now fully ahead of Lukas. Through T8, Michal begins to lose the rear as the 'back end' comes around, thus losing speed. The stewards agree that this gave Lukas very little time to react and as a result hits the rear of Michal which spins Michal losing him positions. We see this as an unfortunate racing incident and to place the blame on Lukas would be harsh. This incident is not in the video review as I had regrettably overlooked it.
DECISION - NO ACTION

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

@FRAJDA Daniel
@rad Pawlaczek
@Malte Schneider

Race 1

1.1 FERNANDES / NICE
There is slight contact through T2 which thankfully doesn't lead to much. Elio, on the inside line, has a little overlap on Lubomir into T2. Lubimor drives across the nose of Elio at apex which causes Lubomir to have a mini slide. The consequence to Lubomir is more than to that of Elio.
There was no benefit at all for Lubomir to go for the apex here with a car by his side. This is why it is important to not alter lines drastically through
the opening corners unless you are absolutely sure you are clear of any cars. You are risking a Warning by doing so.
DECISION - WARNING NICE (1)

1.2 FERNANDES / ROSLEV
Elio attacks Morten on the inside through T18. Morten leaves enough room at apex, Elio rides the apex curb and has contact with Morten at exit kerb, causing Morten to wobble and Elio to spin. Morten loses a couple of positions. Elio left no room for Morten at exit kerb and was responsible for this incident.
DECISION - WARNING FERNANDES (1)

Submitted

1.3 BADCOCK / PEK
L3, T6. Petr gains on Daniel down the Wellington straight and completes an overtake through T6. The stewards are happy Petr had substantial overlap at corner turn-in and made the apex and exit curb satisfactorily.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.4 BRITTON / ALBERTINI
L2, T11. Sab has a better exit from T9 which allows him to challenge Jim into T10. Jim leaves Sab room at the apex of T10 but the favour is not returned at T11 where Sab leaves no room at all for Jim - even though the cars are side by side- driving Jim off the track who spins as a result. Sab doesn't wait or return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY ALBERTINI (3)

1.5 PEK / PIETRASZ
L13, T16. Michal attacks Petr into T16, there is contact at apex resulting in Petr spinning and losing positions. Michal waits for Petr to recover. Michal did not have substantial overlap at corner turn-in so Petr had every right to the racing line. Thats 2 very similar incidents on the trot now, I appreciate it's marginal but please try and make better judgements.
DECISION - WARNING PIETRASZ (1)

1.6 ALBERTINI / HAAS
L13, T7. Max gives a subtle nudge to Sab through T7, causing Sab to run a wider line which gives Max the opportunity to overtake Sab on the inside - which he takes. Max unfairly gained Sab's position and didn't return it within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HAAS (3)

Race 2

2.1 MAY / VENTURA
Jack fails to move from his grid box at the lights and is hit by Arran in the rear. Drivers are reminded it is their responsibility to avoid stalled/slow moving drivers from the lights. Arran did wait for a while but Jack took an exceedingly long time to move and the position of Jack's car to Arran, Arran could easily have thought Jack had quit. There will be no further punishment other than that of hitting a slow moving car on the grid.
DECISION - WARNING MAY (1)

2.2 ROSLEV / BADCOCK / NICE / KOLB / SCHNEIDER
Morten hits the rear of Lubomir through T1 causing all 5 drivers to spin. Morten waits for all drivers to recover before proceeding with his race.
DECISION - WARNING ROSLEV (1)

2.3 FERNANDES / SUSKY
After getting caught up in the aftermath of 2.2, Michal performs an unsafe rejoin at the apex of T3 straight into the path of Elio. Elio hits Michal which results in Michal sliding off the circuit. Please be aware of your surroundings when rejoining the track. It is bad practice to be rejoining the track near the apex of a corner. This is classified as an unsafe rejoin with no/little consequence.
DECISION - 2 x WARNING SUSKY (2)

2.4 LUKAS / NYIRI / PEK
Vlastimil hits the rear of Pavol through T3, causing Pavol to spin. Vlastimil waits for Pavol to recover. Pavol does not wait for oncoming traffic to pass, but rather buries the throttle and has contact with Petr. This is an unsafe rejoin/correction with no/little consequence.
DECISION - WARNING LUKAS (1)
DECISION - 2 x WARNING NYIRI (2)

2.5 BRITTON / FORSBERG
Jim evades inc 2.4 and takes a wide line through T4 to avoid recovering cars, one of which is Jazz. Jazz is on a narrow line but through exit rides out to the exit kerb. Jim has to take evasive action to avoid Jazz resulting in Jim going on to the grass and losing momentum. The stewards believe Jazz should have shown the same consideration and left room for his opponent although it must be said, from the cockpit view, Jim's car is not visible to Jazz.
DECISION - WARNING FORSBERG (1)

2.6 PIETRASZ / PAWLACZEK
Michal hit Radek under braking for T4 causing Radek to miss the corner and go wide, losing many positions. Michal doesn't wait or return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY PIETRASZ (3)

2.7 HAAS / METCALF
Max leaves no room at apex of T4 for Greg who is at his side, forcing Greg over the curb and to lose momentum. Max should have left a cars width.
DECISION - WARNING HAAS (1)

2.8 FRAJDA / BADCOCK
At exit of T8, Frajda makes a move to avoid the sliding car of Arran, in doing so has slight contact with Badcock which causes Badcock to lose a little momentum. A natural reaction from Frajda, no action.
DECISION - RACING INCIDENT

Submitted

2.10 LUKAS / NYIRI
L7, T15. Vlastimil completes an overtake on Pavol down the Hangar straight. Into T15, Pavol tries to overtake Vlastimil on the inside but misjudges his braking and hits the side of Vlastimil through the corner, pushing Vlastimil wide. Through exit, Pavol loses control of his car and spins into the barriers allowing Vlastimil to reclaim his position. The stewards see this as all 1 incident.
DECISION - WARNING NYIRI (1)

2.11 BADCOCK / KOLB
L2, T10. Daniel & Lukas are side by side entering T10. Into T11, Daniel brakes more than Lukas who gets ahead and is able to take the apex of T11 safely. The argument from Dan is that if he had not backed out there would have been a collision at apex which is a valid point, but it appears that Dan chose self-preservation in this instance which often has to be considered during a race. Rather than this being poor driving by Lukas (which it could have been), it was a better decision from Dan to pull out of this move.
DECISION - NO ACTION.

2.12 PEK / ALBERTINI
L4, T3. Sab hits Petr through T3 causing both drivers to spin. Sab waits for Petr to recover. Petr's correction is just about OK, but please be aware of oncoming traffic.
DECISION - WARNING ALBERTINI (1)

2.13 HAAS / NYIRI
L6, T3. Pavol tries to dive under Max on the approach to T3, loses control of his car and slides into Max causing them both to spin. Pavol waits for Max to recover.
DECISION - WARNING NYIRI (1)

2.14 METCALF / NYIRI
L3, T3. Pavol attacks Greg on the inside into T3 which results in a collision at apex. Pavol had no overlap at corner turn-in point so was not entitled to the inside line through the corner. There is side by side contact at apex which results in Pavol unfairly taking Greg's position. Pavol does not return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFIACTION PENALTY NYIRI (3)

2.15 METCALF / PAWLACZEK
L10, T14. Radek has a spin at T12 and rejoins on the outside of T13. At apex of T14 there is contact with Greg, resulting in a small slide and loss of momentum for Greg. The stewards believe Radek's rejoin was safe and predictable enough for Greg to be able to determine a safe passage around his car. Radek could possibly have also shown more awareness by lifting to let the faster car past safely. Overall, we see this as a racing incident where both drivers could have contributed a little more to avoid the contact.
DECISION - NO ACTION

2.16 DHOORE / BAKAS
L13, T9. David brakes too late into T9 and hits the rear of Peter, spinning both drivers. Peter is able to recover sooner.
DECISION - WARNING DHOORE (1)

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

All present :)

Race 1

1.1 KEARLEY / ALBERTINI / SUSKY
After the lights down the s/f straight, Ethan moves to initiate an overtake on Michal. Ethan's move took him into Sab which caused Sab to slide and hit Michal, resulting in Michal & Sab spinning into the barriers and little consequence to Ethan. Ethan doesn't wait or return position to either driver within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY KEARLEY (3)

1.2 HUTNIK / FILLINGHAM
Pavel attacks Simon on the inside into T8 chicane. Simon gives room at the 1st apex, but Pavel drives right across the nose of Simon leaving him no room at 2nd apex. There is contact which pushes Simon off track. Pavel was probably going to take the position here, but you have to leave room to give your opponent a fair chance.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

1.3 HUTNIK / DHOORE
Pavel attacks David on the inside into T14. Pavel brakes late giving him substantial overlap at corner turn-in, but is carrying too much speed to make the apex kerb or exit kerb. There is contact when David turns in, stopping David from making the corner on the correct line. Pavel manages to take David's position, however, it is done unfairly. Pavel doesn't return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

1.4 ORTIZ / ALBERTINI
On the approach to T15, Sab has substantial overlap on the outside line. Xavi moves over and squeezes Sab, causing Sab to back off the gas. Please be aware of your opponents position and leave room.
DECISION - WARNING ORTIZ (1)

Submitted

1.5 BADCOCK / PEK
L27, T12. Petr has a slide on the exit of T11 and briefly rides on the grass before rejoining at entry of T12. Dan behind has to slow to accommodate Petr. Petr rejoin is safe & predictable and it is sometimes the case that a driver does have to compensate for slow/rejoining cars.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.6 PEK / HUTNIK
L9, T15. Pavel exits the track at T14 and rejoins on the approach to T15. Upon rejoin he hits Petr, causing Petr to spin and lose positions. Although Pavel waits, the penalty for 'unsafe rejoin with consequence' remains.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

1.7 PEK / KOLB
L16, T3. Lukas tags Petr around T3 causing Petr to slide. This is enough for Lukas to take Petr's position unfairly. Lukas realises his mistake and returns the position a few corners later.
DECISION - WARNING KOLB (1)

1.8 METCALF / NYIRI
L33, T1. Pavol attacks Greg around the outside into T1. Corner entry & mid-corner is fine. At corner exit there is a collision that spins Greg and has no consequence to Pavol. Pavol appears to deviate very slightly from his exit line, the reason being unclear. Greg's exit line, although it is leaving Pavol a car's width, was at the limit and any imperfection by either of them would result in contact. The stewards would find it incredibly harsh to penalise either driver for this incident.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.9 FORSBERG / NYIRI
L22, T15. Pavol dives up the inside of Jazz well after corner turn-in point and has contact with Jazz through turn-in. Pavel slides but is able to recover with little consequence. Pavol had no right to the inside line here and should have kept his nose out.
DECISION - WARNING NYIRI (1)

1.10 FORSBERG / NYIRI
L26, T1. Pavol dives up the inside of Jazz well after corner turn-in point and has contact with Jazz at apex. Jazz is able to keep the position but again this is poor judgement from Pavol.
DECISION - WARNING NYIRI (1)

1.11 FORSBERG / NYIRI
L26, T15. Pavol attacks Jazz up the inside into T15, there is a collision which sees both drivers slide through the corner but both are able to recover with little consequence. Pavol once more appears to be attempting a late dive up the inside of Jazz. Jazz sees the dive coming and turns in abruptly to block Pavel causing contact as he does. Whilst the stewards can sympathise with Jazz about the persistent dive bombing, we cannot condone the intentional block by Jazz to fight off Pavol.
DECISION - WARNING FORSBERG (1)
ADVICE - Pavol, you really can't expect to make an overtake coming from that far back into a corner. We appreciate you were out of position after serving your DT penalty, but Jazz was no backmarker and you have to find a fair route past your opponent when contesting a position. Persistent breaking of the rules will only serve to frustrate your opponents, getting your featured in the stewards' report and facing a race ban. Please learn to respect your opponent's and the rules and we all will have a more enjoyable time on track.

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

All present :)

Race 1

1.1 FILLINGHAM / ROSLEV
Simon brakes a little too late into T10 and hits the rear of Morten. There is little consequence to either driver but it causes a few minor bumps behind. More caution needed from Simon.
DECISION - WARNING FILLINGHAM (1)

1.2 KEARLEY / HARTUP
Ethan dives up the inside of Nicolae into T15. There is a side-by-side contact which pushes Nicola off track. Ethan did not have substantial overlap at corner turn-in so was not entitled to the inside line. Ethan returns position within a lap.
DECISION - WARNING KEARLEY (1)

1.3 FORSBERG / KOLB
Whilst challenging for position, Lukas car becomes unsettles on the kerb resulting in a spin for Lukas. No one else at fault here.
DECISION - NO ACTION

Submitted

1.4 MANOJLOVIC / LUKAS
L2, T7. Nemanja attacks Vlastimil into T7, there is contact at apex which results in Nemanja spinning. Nemanja doesn't have substantial overlap at corner turn-in so isn't entitled to the inside line although Vlastimil does leave a bit of room. The gap may have looked inviting, but if substantial overlap isn't gained you risk contact and decisions against you.
DECISION - PENALTY POINT ONLY MANOJLOVIC (1)

1.5 HAAS / NYIRI
L2, T7. Pavol overtakes Max through T7/T8 as Nemanja is in the wall from 1.4. Max has mentioned that Pavol overtook under a yellow flag. The stewards will not override the in-game flag rules. Flag rules are set at visual only meaning there are no penalties applied. You are reminded to be alert to the flags but as for stewards making decisions on flags it cannot happen as we can't see flags in replays.
DECISION - NO FURTHER ACTION

1.6 HAAS / DHOORE
L23, T19. David hits the rear of Max under braking for T19, pushing Max of the track and into the barriers. David waits and returns position.
DECISION - WARNING DHOORE (1)

1.7 ALBERTINI
L25, T17. Whilst being lapped by the cars in a battle for P2, Sab moves into their path clipping the rear of Vlastimil and causing a collision with Peter. Thankfully there was no serious consequence to the cars involved but more awareness needs to be shown in these situations.

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

@Tomas Struhar
@NedoV

Race 1

1.1 VILI / HUTSON
Nedo turns in on Paul into T2 pushing Paul off track. Paul has substantial overlap and should be afforded the inside line into T2. Nedo alters his line (ill-advised during opening corners) and hits Paul.
DECISION - WARNING VILI (1)

1.2
VILI / HUTNIK / RIEDL / HARTUP
Nedo is late on the brakes into T7 chicane, hitting Pavel who in turn hits Stefan and slides into the runoff. Pavel keeps his foot down, straight lines the chicane and rejoins the track right in front of a bunch of drivers, causing contact. He hits Nedo which forces Stefan off-track also. This was poor from Pavel and is classified as an unsafe rejoin with consequences.
DECISION - WARNING VILI (1) for the hit on Pavel
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

Submitted

1.3 MAY / ROSSI
L5, T9. The 2 drivers exit T8 side-by-side, Valentino on the outside. Vale has better traction and is able to pull ahead of Arran before the T9 kink. At no point does Vale try to leave Arran room for T9, but by the time Arran needs to turn he has room to do so. Some sportsmanship would have been nice to see from Vale, particularly as he was already ahead but we don't feel the need for any action here.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.4 MAY / ROSSI
L7, T4-T5. The 2 drivers, plus Stefan are in a 3 way battle down the straight to the 1st chicane. Stefan gets past Vale, Vale moves into Stefan's draft but does so whilst Arran is attempting an overtake in that half of the track. Vale then drifts back to kerb as he follows Stefan in his draft. Although Vale was on the offensive, he must also be considerate to those attacking him. We can accept Vale 1st move back into the draft of Stefan as his 1st defensive block. As he drifted back to the kerb he really should be leaving a car's width for Arran to attack into.
DECISION - WARNING ROSSI (1)

1.5 MAY / ROSSI
L12, T2. Vale runs deep into T2 presenting Arran with an overtake on the inside, to which he obliges. Arran isnt as tight as he could be and misses the apex. As he drifts to corner exit he is clipped by Vale who is recovering from his deep entry to T2. The stewards believe that Vale's correction had a little too much steering lock and Arrans apex of T2 was a little too wide. Both attributes combined to create this minor contact to which there was no consequence.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.6 ALBERTINI / ROSSI
L4, T2. Vale gets a little wide on exit of T1 which loses him momentum and gives Sab an easy pass. Into T2, Vale keeps an inside line but doesnt back off enough to give Sab the inside line to which he is entitled as Vale had no/little overlap. There is contact at apex which results in Sab spinning. Vale does not wait or return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY ROSSI (3)

1.7 ALBERTINI / ROSSI
L10, T10. Sab looks to the inside of Vale into T10. Sab is at least a cars length behind Vale when he cuts to the inside under braking. Vale turns in early for T10 in what can only be considered a defending manoeuvre on Sab. Changing line under braking is forbidden but the move is only slight and the overtake was never really on as it was launched from a long way back. The stewards decide that Sab's move was a little too optimistic and the move from Vale wasn't enough for further action.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.8 ALBERTINI / ROSSI
L11, T10. Sab attacks Vale into T10 on the inside. This time, Sab is well alongside Vale with substantial overlap at corner turn-in point and so is entitled to the inside line.. Vale leaves no room for Sab at corner apex, there is contact which spins Sab. Vale does not wait or return position within a lap.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY ROSSI (3)

1.9 FORSBERG / PEK
L13, T5. Petr (outside) attacks Jazz (inside) into T5 chicane. There is contact through the chicane which results in Jazz going off-track. The accusation is that Petr did not leave Jazz room at 1st apex and ruling on track limits, this is true. However, we feel Petr did consider Jazz when making his turn into T5. Many of the cars, most of the time take a big chunk out of that 1st & 2nd apex and exceed track limits so although Jazz was well on the kerb, it was not too dissimilar to his and others usual line. The stewards feel it would be wrong to penalise Petr here as he did turn in later than usual to accommodate Jazz.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.10 FORSBERG / HUTNIK
L29, T8. Pavel attacks Jazz on the inside into T8, there is contact at apex which results in Jazz losing position to Pavel. Pavel did not have substantial overlap at corner turn-in point and therefore wasn't entitled to the inside line through the corner. This is an unfair overtake from Pavel who didn't return position within a lap. We accept the overlap is close to being enough but it isn't quite. We have defined a point at which substantial overlap is achieved for exactly these sort of incidents.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY HUTNIK (3)

1.11 FORSBERG / HUTNIK
L32, T8. Pavel attacks Jazz on the inside into T8, there is contact at apex but Jazz retains position. Yet again, Pavel does not have substantial overlap at corner turn-in point and doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. A driver must earn the right to be given room at apex, not just shoot up the inside and barge yourself past.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

1.12 FORSBERG / HUTNIK
L34, T10. Pavel attacks Jazz on the inside into T10, there is contact at apex which results in Pavel spinning. Once more, Pavel does not have substantial overlap at corner turn-in point, carries too much speed into the 1st apex and runs into Jazz. These kind of incidents seem to be a reoccurring theme with Pavel who is no doubt quick but unfortunately doesn't seem to grasp the fact of a driver's right to a line. Pavel quits after this incident. Not a good return after a race ban.
DECISION - WARNING HUTNIK (1)

1.13 RIEDL / ROSSI
L5, T7. Stefan attacks Vale into the final right of T7, there is just about substantial overlap. There is contact through turn-in which results in Stefan going off track. The stewards judge that Vale was leaving enough room on the inside but Stefan's entry was too hot and his turn in too late which ran him into the side of Vale. When you have the inside line to a corner you have to make sure you keep to it. We feel Stefan went a little wider than the inside line here.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.14 METCALF / ROSSI
L15, T7. Vale totally messes up his braking into T7 and decides to bail onto the verge which causes a big collision with Greg, Nemanja & Petr. Vale, a backmarker at the time, had been racing Greg for at least a lap causing Greg to defend into corners and prolonging Nemanja from lapping him. There is only Vale to blame for this incident which caused multiple collisions. Vale's actions are not acceptable for someone joining the series half way through and causing this disruption, more discipline MUST be shown.
DECISION - DRIVE THROUGH PENALTY ROSSI (4)

1.15 METCALF / FILLINGHAM
L18, T7. Simon rear ends Greg under braking for T7, causing Greg to spin. Simon shows signs of waiting for Greg before Greg quits. Greg then performs a correction into the path of Pavel, which causes a collision. This 'unsafe rejoin with consequence' is quite a freak occurrence, but Greg moves over the kerbs that are part of track limits and causes a collision with Pavel (losing a position to Nemanja) who is keeping within track limits, although being wide of the racing line. We have to find Greg responsible for this as his rejoin/correction was not safe.
DECISION - WARNING FILLINGHAM (1) for the hit on Greg
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION PENALTY METCALF (3) unsafe rejoin/correction with consequence

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

@Xavi Ortiz

Race 1 Lap 1

1.1 HECKE / FORSBERG
Sven moves across the track to make a pass on Peter shortly after lights out and hits Jazz. Poor choice (should have gone the other side of Peter) and awareness from Sven and was lucky not to cause a bigger incident.
DECISION - WARNING HECKE (1)

1.2 VILI / BRITTAIN
At the exit of T3, Nedo moves inwards to try and get on the inside of Lubimor. By making this move, he has contact with Clive who is alongside Nedo. This results in Nedo losing control and sliding into the pack of cars negotiating T4. Poor awareness from Nedo that resulted with secondary incidents.
DECISION - WARNING VILI (1)

1.3 HECKE / BAKUS
There is side-by-side contact at apex of T5 as both drivers contest the position. Sven squeezed Peter a little but no harm was done.
DECISION - NO FURTHER ACTION

1.4 PEK / DHOORE
The 2 drivers are side-by-side through T8, Petr on the inside. David does leave room for Petr but they are door to dhoore(!) and there is contact through apex. This puts David into a slide and invites a 2nd contact as they approach corner exit. This contact together with David's counter-steer to correct the slide is enough to put David in the barriers. The only question here is whether Petr was leaving enough room for David on exit. We cannot conclusively say that he wasn't. The 1st contact (which cannot be blamed on anyone) looks like it may have slightly knocked the Nissan off balance and pointed Petr straight for the exit kerb. However, the stewards feel this would be hard to pin any blame on either driver.
DECISION - RACING INCIDENT

1.5 STRUHAR / HUTSON
Again, both drivers side-by-side though T8, Tomas on the inside. There is contact through corner exit that results in Tomas sliding across the infield and rejoining beyond T9. Tomas took a little too much apex kerb on T8 which contributed towards unbalancing the car through exit and the contact with Paul. Tomas rejoin could have benn less towards racing line, but it caused no problems.
DECISION - NO ACTION

1.6 ORTIZ / CARMAN
Xavi attacks Steve on the inside into T13. There is no overlap at corner entry and slight side-by-side contact at apex with little consequence to Steve. Xavi spins on corner exit and Steve is able to keep the position.
DECISION - NO ACTION - but be careful in these situations Xavi.

1.7 BAKUS / HECKE
Sven attacks Peter around the outside of T13 and is almost fully alongside through corner exit. Peter leaves no room for Sven and pushes him off the track, causing Sven to lose positions. As Peter was (just) the ahead car at 1st contact we will not classify this as an unfairly gained position although it could quite easily be an unfairly defended position.
DECISION - WARNING BAKUS (1)

Race 2 Lap 1

2.1 HAAS / ARELLA
Max fails to leave room for Ralf at T1 apex causing a collision. Ralf has a mini-slide, rides the sausage kerb but is able to keep control. Entry-kerb to apex-kerb to exit-kerb is likely to cause contacts in the opening few corners and should be avoided unless absolutely sure the move will not have consequences.
DECISION - WARNING HAAS (1)

2.2 VILI / STRUHAR
Nedo nudges the rear of Tomas through T6 causing Tomas to spin. Tomas does regain position when Nedo spins later in the lap but as this is through an error from Nedo the stewards judge this as Nedo NOT returning the position intentionally within a lap and shall receive the relevant penalty.
DECISION - NO QUALIFICATION VILI (3)

Submitted

2.3 FILLINGHAM / BAKUS
L9, T11. Simon hits Peter under braking for T11 causing Peter to spin. Simon waits for Peter to recover and returns position.
DECISION - WARNING FILLINGHAM (1)

2.4 METCALF / BAKUS
L11, T6. Peter hits Greg under braking/turn-in for T6 causing Greg to spin with minor secondary incidents. Peter waits for Greg to recover and returns position.
DECISION - WARNING BAKUS (1)

2.5 BRITTON / HAAS
L9, T4. Jim nudges Max through the exit of T4 causing Max to spin. Jim waits for Max to recover and returns position.

@Arran May @uk2008

Lap 1

1.1 MAY / ROSLEV
Arran hits the rear of Morten under braking for T1, causing Morten to spin. There are minor secondary incidents that don't warrant further action. Arran waits for Morten to recover and returns position.

Sab slides on exit of T1 and is it hit on the rear by Max as he corrects. Max is left in the wall whilst Sab can continue after losing many positions.
DECISION - RACING INCIDENT

1.3 BADCOCK / NYIRI
L33, T3. Pavol is involved in an innocent incident with Nemanja at the exit of T3, resulting in Pavol being on the grass verge and facing the wrong way. Pavol executes a correction/rejoin whilst Dan is approaching forcing Dan to take avoiding action. There is slight contact but Dan can continue with very little consequence. It's a natural reaction to want to recover as quickly as possible but this shouldn't be done immediately if there are other cars around to which you will be a risk.

Pre-Race Briefing

The following driver(s) were absent from the Pre-Race Briefing at 1945 BST and will receive 1 penalty point on their licence:

All present :)

Sector 1

1.1 MAY / CARMAN
Arran nudges the rear of Steve through T5, causing Steve to spin. Arran waits for Steve but Steve has left his PC for a short time, therefore there will be no further punishment to Arran for not returning position.
DECISION - WARNING MAY (1)

1.2 PEK / STRUHAR
Petr attacks Tomas on the inside to Aremberg. Petr is carrying too much speed, mounts the kerb & verge before hitting Tomas and pushing him into the gravel. This is an unfair overtake. Petr fails to return the position to Tomas.
DECISION - (NQ) +20sec PENALTY PEK (3)

Submitted

1.3 FILLINGHAM / ROSLEV
Simon brakes too late for Wehrsiefen and has contact with Morten, spinning him into the barriers. Simon lets Morten recover.
DECISION - WARNING FILLINGHAM (1)

1.4 BAKUS / FILLINGHAM / BADCOCK
Peter spins through Pflanzgarten II and performs an unsafe rejoin/correction with numerous cars fast approaching. Some serious avoidance has to be taken to avoid any more serious incidents. A very generous '...with no/little consequence' shall be called, but please be aware of oncoming traffic when rejoining/correcting esp in high-speed sections.
DECISION - 2 x WARNING BAKUS (2)

1.5 FORSBERG / PAWLACZEK
L3, Klostertal. Radek is pressuring Jazz on the run-up to Klostertal. Jazz defends by taking a more narrow line into the fast right which leads to Jazz braking a little. Radek is wide of Jazz when Jazz brakes but manages to be caught out by this and hits Jazz on the side rear, putting Jazz into a slide and into the barriers. Radek gains Jazz's position and doesn't return it. The stewards judge this to be an unfair overtake. It's a very risky place to attempt an overtake, but Jazz was trying to be cooperative by leaving room on the outside. However, Radek turned in too early and caused the contact.
DECISION - (NQ) +20sec PENALTY PAWLACZEK (3)

1.6 FORSBERG / HORVATH
L12 Antoniusbuche. Robert is in the slipstream of Jazz on Antoniusbuche and overtakes Jazz , Jazz then positions his car behind Robert and also tries to have the advantage of the slipstream but when they enter Tiergarten Jazz is too late on the brakes and hits Robert in the rear causing a collision and both drivers spinning . Robert recovers before Jazz
