This is an overview of the driver briefing in text format. All drivers must be in the pre-race briefing voice channel by 15 minutes before the Qualifying session is due to commence.
THE TRACK
The Hungaroring, Hungary's first permanent race circuit, opened in 1986 near Budapest. Designed by István Papp, it hosted its inaugural Formula One Grand Prix the same year. The circuit quickly gained prominence for its challenging layout, characterised by twists and turns. Over the years, the Hungaroring has witnessed memorable races, including iconic moments like Nigel Mansell's famous victory from 12th on the grid in 1989. It remains a staple on the Formula One calendar, contributing to Hungary's rich motorsport history.

STEWARDS ADVICE
Red Flag: No
Potential for a wet race appears to be the highest yet so far in this series. We urge drivers to understand the unpredictability of what 30 cars kicking up spray may bring and to be ready to safely react. Focus should be on ensuring we all have a safe opening lap.
This is a reminder that Lap 1 penalty points are multiplied for repeat offenders, with a NQ penalty awaiting after 3 incidents.
Good luck to all drivers. Any question? Please do ask in the series chat channel on Discord.
