In this thread the Stewarding Decisions will be announced, all rulings are final.

Foreword

As Rule D1 states;

'Sportsmanship is a cornerstone of racing at RRLeagues and this is expected to be upheld by all participating drivers. If you pass someone unfairly or collide with them, it is expected that you return the position at the earliest but safest opportunity.'

If you show sportsmanship towards other drivers then any penalties you may receive will be lessened because of this.

Round 1- Hungaroring

Head Steward: @Ethan Kearley
Second Steward: @Simon Fillingham

Race 1

1.1 Various drivers
A lot of door-to-door contact into T1 from vaious drivers. None of it was from divebombs, mostly just people taking different lines through T1 and touching at the apex or on exit. Rubbin' is racin'
NO ACTION ALL

1.2 Kearley/Van Huelsen
Ethan makes a pretty late move on Antonio into T5 and throws out the anchors right in front of Kevin who touches Ethan into T5. Ethan slides, conacts the side of Stefanov and loses momentum. Kevin doesn't take the position. Kevins lack of capitalisation, the lack of consequence to Ethan, Ethan's agressive braking and the fact there was no overlap so Ethan's first move wasn't agressive against Kevin mean the stewards have agreed this is a;
RACING INCIDENT- NO ACTION

1.3 Kearley/Stefanov
Ethan touches the back of Antonio through T13. Ethan then spins to the inside of the turn. He gets away without effecting anyone. It is the stewards opinion Ethan was unlucky to be spun after such light contact and it's probably a bit of netcode considering his internet was so bad that race.
RACING INCIDENT- NO ACTION

Race 2

2.1 Albertini
Didn't race despite being signed up. Came in voice chat and realised his mistake, forgetting there were 2 races. I laughed hard.
NO ACTION

2.2 Barker/Forsberg/Lukas
First things first, Vlastamil holds his line off the grid and is completely innocent. He doesn't make contact with anyone and his lack of movement mean he played zero part in the incident. Colin gets a rubbish start and bogs off the line. Jazz makes a great start and goes for the gap between Colin and Vlastamil. Colin, possibly reacting to Jazz, drifts over to defend his position. Jazz then hits the back of Colin as he's drifting to the left. The steards feellike Colin's race would have been better served going to drivers right and not left, into the middle of the track. Self-preservation has to be paramount when getting a bad start. However, the damage to Colin's race was sever enough to warrant no further action.
RACING INCIDENT- NO ACTION

2.3 Kearley/Forsberg/Nieuwoudt
Ethan pins Jazz to the apex at T1 and there is slight contact. This does not effect Ethan much however Ethan then understeers on throttle into Herman. Ethan spins and recovers without incident.
WARNING KEARLEY (1)

2.4 Pek/Stefanov
Petr and Antonio both drift from their sides of the track into the middle and contact is made. because of where conact is made, both drivers had left at least a cars width to the edge of the track and there remains such a distance until turn in for T2.
RACING INCIDENT- NO ACTION

2.5 Stefanov/Pek/Lukas
After the incident between T1 and T2, Stefanov tries to attack Petr through T2, this results in a light touch putting Antonio on the grass. He then rejoins on exit in the path of Vastimil who avoids Antonio. Antonio was just allowing the car to do what it wanted as any other inputs would have caused serious instability.
RACING INCIDENT- NO ACTION

2.6 Stefanov/Lukas
Through T3 Vlastamil hits Antonio on turn in despite Antonio being fully alongside. This then pushes Antonio over the inside losing him momentum. While the stewards agree that Antonio had right to room here he had already lost momentum de to incident 2.5. Therefore he had no real right to defend. However Vlastimil did unfairly keep the position and should take note to leave room in future.
WARNING LUKAS (1)

2.7 Stefanov/Talevski
Antonio hits Marko into the chicane at T6/7. This causes both of them to spin across the track causing multiple contacts. Antonio recovers without incident. Marko hits Jazz as he recovers but there was no other way to escape the trap he was in. He then recovers properly without incident. Marko beats Antonio away.
WARNING STEFANOV (1)

2.8- Kearley/Stefanov/Rives
Coming through T14 Ethan sticks to the extreme inside as Chris runs wide. Antonio goes out-in-out. He is respectful of Ethan on the inside and the two do not make contact. However on exit, Antonio pushes wide and hits Chris on exit. This causes Antonio to spin and Chris to get very loose. Ethan manages to pick his way through the crash with slight contact to Chris as he has a massive tankslapper. Chris eventually finds solace in the pit wall and both Chris and Antonio recover without incident. Chris recovers ahead of Antonio.
WARNING STEFANOV (1)

Jazz Forsberg
Marko Talevski
Kevin van Huelsen
Herman Nieuwoudt

Decision: Verbal Warning All (0)

Race 1- No problems

Race 2-

2.1- Lukas/Dhoore
Valstimil hits the back of David into T1. This causes Vlastimil to spin while David carries on unaffected.
Warning Lukas (1)

2.2 May/Barker
Arran brakes too late into T1 and hits the left rear quater panel of Colin. This causes them both to spin and Colin rejoins first.
Warning May (1)

STEWARDS NOTE: I said it in the briefing and I'll say it here as well; tyres do not carry over heat into race 2. Brakes do not carry over heat into race 2. Treat BOTH first laps with caution. I accept some of it will be trying to make up for a bad race 1 or from your reverse grid spot but, please try to keep a cool head into T1 in race 2.

ROUND 3 ROAD AMERICA | 29-6-18

Head Steward: @Ethan Kearley
2nd Stewards: @Henk-Jan Steneker, @Simon Fillingham, @Skenys

Pre Race Briefing
No shows:
Petr Pojsl
Vlastimil Lukas
Arran May
Kevin van Huelsen

Race 1:

Lap 1:
1.1 BARKER/ALBERTINI
Colin gets another awful start and holds his line off the grid. Sab lanches pretty well and jinks to go to the inside of Colin. Sab seems scared to hit Max starting on the opposite side of the grid and therefore contacts Colin as he goes to pass him. Colin drops to last from this incident. Sab gives up the place due to being caught in incident 1.2. The warning is given as it is assumed that had Sab not got caught up in Incident 1.2, which was not Sab's fault, he would have given the place back.
Decision- WARNING ALBERTINI (1)

1.2 KEARLEY/HAAS/ALBERTINI
Ethan throws it up the inside of T4 from quite a way back. Max brakes early so he doesn't hit Marko in front of him, probably trying the over-under. As Max gets to the apex however he finds Ethan who has gone a little too deep but managed to avoid Marko. Max then touches Ethan, spinning him. Ethan spins into Sab and the pair have a dust up as they recover. This is mostly down to miscommunication between the drivers. The incident is deemed to be Ethan's fault for not sticking to his line and not allowing Max room around the outside. However, the consequence to Ethan is sufficient to warrant no further action.
Decision- NO FURTHER ACTION

1.3- TALEVSKI/HAAS
Marko goes deep into T4 as he helps Ethan avoid him. This causes him to run wide and as he reenters the track he collects the side of Max who is overtaking him.
Decision- NO ACTION

Race 2

Lap 1
2.1- KEARLEY/ALBERTINI
Ethan is trying to brake late into turn 5. At the point of braking, Ethan is a huge way behind Sab. At the point of turning for the corner, however, Ethan is halfway alongside Albertini yet doesn't seem to be able to make the inside of the corner. Also, Albertini seems not completely aware of his presence at his inside, turning in with a little less room left for Ethan to be in. The consequensce is Ethan making contact with Albertini resulting in a spin for Ethan making him loose many places and becoming last and a massive way behind the second last car. The stewards feel this was Ethan's fault and this incident could have resulted in a crash for Albertini too, with it not being his fault. However, the stewards believe Ethan is being punished for his mistake with his massive time loss, deeming it unnecessary to penalise him.
Decision: NO ACTION

2.2- ALBERTIN/TALEVSKI
Out of the last turn Albertini seems to be weaving on the straight to break the slipstream of Marko. It doesn't seem like he is blocking Marko to the point of braking or lifting and his car is fully in front, so this is not a dangerous situation according to the stewards.
Decision: NO ACTION

Incident submissions:

Lap 10:
2.3- ALBERTINI/STEFANOV
Stevanov hits the back of Albertini while they race through turn 9. This causes Albertini to nearly loose his car and having to lift to get his car back into control. As this slows Albertini down, Stevanov goes past him on the inside and continues the lap ahead of Albertini. In turn 12 Albertini overtakes Stevanov again but this is not voluntarily for Stevanov, I.E. he did not wait and therefore will receive a no qualification penalty.
Decision: NO QUALIFICATION STEFANOV (3)

2.4: Stefanov/Haas
Stevanov and Max enter turn 14 alongside each other. At the braking point, they touch each other, causing both cars to loose grip and balance. This results in Max hitting Stevanov twice, making Stevanov nearly running out of track space. Max, however, cannot help this, due to his braking balance being shit (Amateur settings feature). Both cars survive the corner and are able to continue their way towards the finish line.
Decision: NO ACTION
