Series Introduction

After a close-fought inauguration of our flagship series in which driver & team rivalries were formed, we go straight back into GT racing as we bring to you the GT3 Masters II, set to reignite the flames on a smouldering Season 33. Season 37 will switch to a Sunday evening to give a fair opportunity to our members who can't race midweek and will also see a total of 9 GT3 cars available for selection, with a maximum of 4 teams per car.

Drivers should be better prepared to manage the demands of a competitive campaign and build on the experienced gained in the Autumn in a concerted effort to continue their improvement at RRLeagues.

Series Registration Information
  • There are 36 available slots for S37 GT3 Masters.
  • Series registration will be on a first come first served basis, however...
  • We take participation and commitment very seriously at RRLeagues. Signing up for the series means you are in a position to attend at least 75% of the scheduled races and every effort should be made to fulfil this. Drivers unsure if they can commit to a series should apply as a guest for single events.
  • Those who persistently register for a series but fail to attend races will have registration restrictions applied in the future.
  • If you are unable to attend a race, you must state your absence on the race thread in the forum. Absences should be given as soon as possible, ideally no later than 12 hours before the commencement of the race in question.
  • Registration will be for the entire series. Guest starts are possible but not guaranteed.
  • Registrations made without valid forum and Discord accounts will be cancelled.
  • Your in-game name must match (or be a very close match of) your real name and must be added to your RaceApp profile.
  • Drivers wishing to register for this series must do so at RaceApp using the link below.
  • New members will not be permitted to drive in the series until they have passed a shakedown with a staff member (Rule A5)
  • The booking reference that is required on RaceApp to complete registration can be found here.
Independent & Team Entries
  • This series is open to Independent and Team registrations, but we do encourage Teams to be formed wherever possible. Please post below if you are looking for a teammate so you can have teams ready for when registration opens.
  • Teams will consist of 2 drivers.
  • Team entries must drive the same car & livery
  • A maximum of 4 teams (8 drivers) per car model permitted.
  • Teammates may not be changed after the opening day of the series.
  • Independent entries may choose any car/livery that does not have a team tied to it.
Car Changes
  • Car/livery changes are not permitted after the opening day of the season. Selections as of 00:01 on 12/01/20 are final.
Broadcast (if applicable)
Disclaimer
  • By registering for this series you agree to your name (and any aliases) being used in any of RRLeagues social media posts/broadcasts.

The recent Sector3 announcement that a new updated version (2019) of the Porsche 911 GT3 R will be included in the December update means the 2016 version we have pictured in post #1 will be replaced by the new 2019 version. The image will be updated asap and we hope to have the 2019 version for selection in RaceApp by the time registration opens.

To clarify, the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 R will not race in S37 GT3 Masters II. The 2019 version will race in S37 GT3 Masters II.

The 500 VRP will now be decided between all drivers who START each round. Crossing the finish line is no longer a requirement. This will guard against disconnections and wrecked cars.

The admins decision is still final. If we think you have hit escape unnecessarily or gone on a wrecking spree then you will unlikely be featuring in the end of season award ceremony.

it's very fair in my opinion, however, if you change it, i'd add to it: all drivers should be included who finished the qualy and proceeded to race session. David had a problem at Bathurst he even couldn't get onto the grid. i also had disconnected from formation lap some time ago...

yes, we would include drivers that fall into this category. basically, anyone that turns up to all 8 races and doesnt intentionally leave :)

Why aren't we using the latest ADAC cars instead?
quite a simple explanation - it makes our life easier for the booking process on RaceApp.

as each car will have a restriction of 6 drivers max, the only way we could enforce this on RA was to use just one class.

setting a max of 6 drivers per car when using ADAC + GTR3 would result in (for example) 6 x Merc AMG GT3 AND 6 x Merc AMG GTM18. this is not what we wanted.

using ADAC only does not give us the variety (model) we wanted to try. GTR3 only was the option that gave us what we wanted.

we are missing out on the latest liveries included in the ADAC pack, nothing more.

With registration opening in approximately 48hrs, some important reminders and a series rule revision! (see point 4)

1) At RRLeagues it is respect 1st, winning 2nd. If you can't drive sensibly and without constant risk to others please find somewhere else to race.
2) If you can't commit to at least 6 races of the calendar please refrain from registering to the series until nearer Rd 1. Alternatively, apply as a guest driver for the races you can attend.
3) Registration is restricted to 36 drivers.
4) A maximum of 2 drivers per livery & 4 teams per car*
5) You may adjust your registration (car choice/team name/teammate etc) up to the date of Rd 1 - this is assuming any car choice preference is available.

* We have decided to increase the number of allowed teams per car to 4 as a result of the apparent performance difference between the 'new-gen' and the 'old-gen' GTR3 cars. This way all drivers will have the opportunity to select a 'new-gen' car if desired. Please note, this performance difference is only as a result of limited testing and is not an official statement.
